Unless you’ve spent the last few months on a different continent, you will have noticed that we had a lot of rain this winter.
Torpids was cancelled outright, and the water reached it’s highest peak since 2006, at 43 inches above green-flag conditions. The river cruelly returned amber flag on the Monday after Torpids was due.
Despite this, Jesus have made the most of their time this term. After Thames camp in -1st week, Jesus made their first ever visit to Eton Dorney. From here we prepared for Torpids alongside most other Oxford colleges, to the extent that many wanted to hold Torpids there instead!
To make up for our lack of racing this term, I am proud to announce that Jesus men will be entering a crew into HORR this year, on 29th March.
